Dombås Hydrogen Hub
Norwegian Hydrogen subsidiary Vireon AS wants to make Dombås a hub for hydrogen-powered transport. The plan is to build an energy hub with production of green hydrogen and hydrogen refueling station for heavy transport on a site just outside the city center.
Norwegian Hydrogen has submitted a planning initiative to Dovre municipality to regulate a site that has previously housed a fire station and gas station in detail.
The hydrogen will be produced using renewable energy, and thus be completely emission-free. This will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Dovre and nearby areas.
