Stavanger Hydrogen Hub - NO
Norwegian Hydrogen are planning to establish a green energy hub at Tau Business Park, close to Stavanger, Norway. Our aim is to build a plant for the production of green hydrogen and create a green energy hub for the local area and region.
The plant will be able to produce 4 tonnes of hydrogen per day in the first construction phase. There are plans for possible scaling up of production in line with developments in the market.
In addition to producing green hydrogen, there will also be established infrastructure for distribution. This will enable refueling of hydrogen for vehicles at filling stations both at the plant and elsewhere in the region. At Tau Business Park and several other places in the surrounding area, there are currently large construction machinery that in the long term can make use of locally produced hydrogen as fuel.
Norwegian Hydrogen has initiated the establishment of the plant and the municipality has approved the detailed regulation.
