Zero-emission metals production: GreenIron selects Norwegian Hydrogen for hydrogen supply

GreenIron, using its patented zero-emissions technology, is set to begin operations with green hydrogen as the essential reducing agent for metal production. Deliveries from Norwegian Hydrogen will commence soon, enabling GreenIron to implement its fossil-free process for converting metal oxides to pure metals with water as the only byproduct.

As GreenIron scales up production in 2025, Norwegian Hydrogen’s supply volumes will increase to meet the plant's rising demands, highlighting the scalability of green hydrogen in industrial applications. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainable industrial processes and showcases green hydrogen’s role in reducing emissions across the metals production sector.
