Breaking grounds in Hellesylt
Illustration of how our green hydrogen plant in Hellesylt will look like at opening Q4 2023.
In 2026, a zero-emission regime will be in force in the Geirangerfjord. We enable ships and vehicles to meet this requirement by using locally produced hydrogen two years earlier.
Public meeting
On Saturday, October 29th, we arranged a public town hall meeting to inform the local community of our plans, and to open dialogue. We experienced an overwhelming response, with lots of people showing up and showing their engagement.
Breaking grounds on the plot
A few days later, on Wednesday November 2nd, we started the actual contruction work on our plot.
Project Manager Andreas Wenaas Østigård together with representatives from Opshaug, performing the ground work.
