New team members
Thorstein Jenssen started in the company as CFO January 1, 2022. Jenssen has 25 years of experience from renewable energy, and most recently came from the position as CFO in Emergy. Prior to this, he was also the founder and CEO of the power company Fjellkraft.
In addition to Thorstein Jenssen, Norwegian Hydrogen is strengthening the team with another 3 employment this January.
Andreas Østigård started as Project Manager January 1st, and will, among other things, lead the Hellesylt Hydrogen Hub project. Østigård comes from the position as Senior Advisor in Innovation Norway, and previously has several years of industrial management experience from the maritime industry.
Helene Istad Paulsberg is employed as Executive Assistant. Istad Paulsberg joins Norwegian Hydrogen after 9 years in EY, most recently as Business Support Supervisor at EY's office in Ålesund. She has previously worked in Dagens Næringsliv, among others.
From February 1st, Øystein Tørlen will take the role as Supply Chain Director. After many years in shipping, oil and gas all over the world, Tørlen is now moving home to Ålesund with his family to start in Norwegian Hydrogen. Tørlen has held several international leadership roles in, among others, NATO, Maersk and Teekay, and now comes from the role of Supply Chain Director in Altera Infrastructure.
